Rainy Mondays and Forgotten Everything 🌧️

Image
Monday started off completely on the wrong foot—and honestly, it never recovered. I left the house thinking I was good to go, only to realize once I got to class that I had forgotten everything. No iPad. No charger. No umbrella. No rain boots. And to top it off, no pen. Who forgets a pen on a school day? Me, apparently. I was just sitting there in class with absolutely nothing, looking like I rolled out of a cloud and into a mess. And of course, it was pouring. Not just a light drizzle—pouring ☔. The kind of rain that soaks you straight through, no matter what you’re wearing. My sneakers were immediately drenched, and my socks? Squishy. My windbreaker did what it could, but eventually that got soaked too. I could feel cold rain sliding down my shirt and sticking to my skin, and the discomfort was unreal. After class, I stopped at 7-Eleven to grab a coffee and some of their hot chicken ☕πŸ—. My stomach was fine, but I needed something warm—and honestly, I was just trying to reset the...

🌸 Spring is Broken, Please Fix It πŸ› ️

Image
Spring is supposed to be that magical time of year when nature hits the refresh button—birds chirping 🐦, flowers blooming 🌼, and people happily ditching their winter coats πŸ§₯. It’s all sunshine, smiles, and iced drinks... right? Wrong. At least not today. Instead of basking in warmth and light, I found myself standing in the cold ❄️, getting pelted by sideways rain 🌧️, and questioning all my life choices 🫠—especially the one where I didn’t bring an umbrella. It all started innocently enough. I had a doctor’s appointment at 3 PM πŸ•’ and thought I’d catch the 722 bus afterward to head home. Easy. Simple. Foolproof. Enter: chaos. The sky had a  full-on mood swing . First, it was just chilly. Then came a light drizzle ☔. Before I could even process what was happening, it turned into a full-blown downpour 🌧️. And me? No umbrella. Wrong shoes. Just vibes and regret. There I was, soaked and shivering πŸ₯Ά, waiting for my bus like a soggy popsicle. The 163 bus cruised by like it was mock...

πŸ“š It’s Book Weather Time! ☔

Image
Hello, fellow introverts! It’s one of those cozy, rainy days that feel like a warm hug from the universe—my absolute favorite kind of weather.  After being buried under snow yesterday, the rain is now turning it all into a slippery, icy wonderland outside. ❄️🌨️ I love it! The sound of rain pelting against the windows was like a soothing rhythm, perfect for staying in and letting the world handle itself for a bit. Well, it  was  pelting against the windows, but now it’s just a steady rain. Everything is still wet, and the clouds are thick—so thick that my room is almost completely dark, even with the window shades open. 🌫️ Definitely a stay-inside kind of day. I was going to take out the trash and recycling earlier when the rain wasn’t too bad, but… yeah, that’s a hard pass now. Staying dry and warm indoors is the plan. 🏑☕ Besides, this kind of weather feels like an introvert’s dream scenario. Oh, and now I hear the garbage trucks outside—oh well, I ain’t going o...

A Rainy Day with Crab, Snoop Dogg, and Comfort Food

Image
Today, the weather put on quite a show with thunder and lightning pouring down outside. I made it home just in time to cozy up and enjoy the storm from the comfort of my space. With the rain pattering against the windows, I decided to indulge in some fresh crab from the market—a perfect treat for a day like this. As I enjoyed the crab, I couldn’t help but laugh at Snoop Dogg trying high tea and scones in England. It’s been a riot watching him navigate the world of sophisticated snacks while adding his unique twist. On top of that, I decided to embrace my inner foodie and treat myself to a quarter pounder with cheese and French fries from McDonald’s. Sometimes, comfort food is just what you need. In between bites and laughs, I planned to dive into my books—every single one of them. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to enjoy my books due to the damn cramps because my ugly period came on today, so I’m bloating, cramping, and in pain. Ugh. To make the day a bit better, I’m rewatching the 1995 ve...
