To My Mom and the Graduating Class of 2025 ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿพ‍๐ŸŽ“

Image
Today, the skies opened up and poured everything they had—but no amount of rain could wash away the pride I feel in this moment. ☔️ To my mom: You did it. You walked through storms, both literal and symbolic, to earn that cap and gown. You stood tall—soaked, cold, tired, but unshaken. Watching you cross that stage was like watching a queen claim her crown. I couldn’t be prouder. ๐Ÿ‘‘ You inspire me with your strength, your heart, and your refusal to give up even when the odds (and the weather) were stacked against you. To all the graduates of 2025: Whether you walked across a dry stage or waded through puddles in heels and robes, you made it. ๐ŸŽ“ You pushed through late nights, hard classes, personal battles, and more—only to be met by a storm that didn’t let up. But you kept going. That’s what makes this class unforgettable. You didn’t just graduate—you conquered. ⚡️ Today was messy, wet, chaotic… and still absolutely beautiful. Because today wasn’t about perfect weather—it was about ...

I Aced My Math Midterm—Yes, You Read That Right! ๐ŸŽ‰

Image
Guys, I am confident I finally did it! After struggling with algebra before, I completed the second exam, and I know I aced the math midterm! ๐Ÿงฎ✏️ And let me tell you, it feels amazing. If you know me, you know math has never been my best friend (more like a frenemy I tolerate). But this time? I came prepared, calculator in hand (well, phone in hand ๐Ÿ“ฑ), and knocked it out of the park! Shoutout to my professor for letting us use our calculators—whether it was a regular one or our phones. That was a game-changer! ๐Ÿ”ฅ Seriously, having that little boost made all the difference. I still don’t feel totally confident in math, but I can honestly say I’m starting to understand it more. That’s a huge step forward from where I was before. It sucks that I failed at first, and the professor I had back then wasn’t as helpful as this one. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ‍๐Ÿ’จ So in a way, I’m actually glad I had to retake it—even though it’s at night (ugh,  5:30 PM to 7:30 PM  ๐ŸŒ™). But at least we got out at  ...

Thank Goodness for Art Majors! ๐ŸŽจ✨

I just have to say, thank goodness I’m not drowning in a sea of math classes like those poor engineering students! ๐Ÿ˜… As an art major, I’m so relieved to be focusing on creativity rather than complex equations. ๐Ÿ–Œ️๐Ÿ–ผ️ Sure, I still have to tackle a couple of math classes to check off the requirements (ugh, numbers ๐Ÿ”ข), but I’m almost there! ๐ŸŽ‰ Just one more class… if I pass this class! Ugh,  Algebra 0298 , I hate you! ๐Ÿ˜ซ I recently had a breakthrough in math class when my professor noticed I was struggling. She let us out early for a meeting and even introduced open-book exams! ๐Ÿ“✨ It feels like a small victory that will really help boost my score. I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel, and I’m so grateful for that! ๐ŸŒŸ Being an art major means I get to immerse myself in my passions without the stress of heavy math courses. ๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿ–️ I can only imagine how tough it must be for computer science students. ๐Ÿ˜ต Here’s to wrapping up my math requirements and diving headfirst in...

Navigating Campus Life: Food, Weather, and Finding Home ๐ŸŒŸ

Navigating Campus Life: Food, Weather, and Finding Home ๐ŸŒŸ As I navigate the ups and downs of college life, I find myself reflecting on the little moments that make each day unique. Whether it’s the unpredictable weather ๐ŸŒฆ️, delicious food ๐Ÿœ, or the challenges of finding a place to call home ๐Ÿก, these experiences shape my journey as an awkwardly introverted student. The Journey to the Chinese Restaurant ๐Ÿšถ๐Ÿพ‍♀️๐Ÿฅก Today, I decided to treat myself to some Chinese food, specifically pork fried rice, which is one of my favorites. The walk to the restaurant turned out to be more of a trek than I anticipated, especially with the windy and chilly weather that made me realize I hadn’t dressed warmly enough. The contrast between the warmth of the sun ☀️ and the biting wind was a reminder of how unpredictable this season can be. Even though my ankles were crying by the time I arrived, I made good time and got my food quickly. In fact, my Apple Watch ⌚️ recorded a total time of 47:29 for my wal...
