I Aced My Math Midterm—Yes, You Read That Right! ๐ŸŽ‰

Guys, I am confident I finally did it! After struggling with algebra before, I completed the second exam, and I know I aced the math midterm! ๐Ÿงฎ✏️ And let me tell you, it feels amazing. If you know me, you know math has never been my best friend (more like a frenemy I tolerate). But this time? I came prepared, calculator in hand (well, phone in hand ๐Ÿ“ฑ), and knocked it out of the park!

Shoutout to my professor for letting us use our calculators—whether it was a regular one or our phones. That was a game-changer! ๐Ÿ”ฅ Seriously, having that little boost made all the difference. I still don’t feel totally confident in math, but I can honestly say I’m starting to understand it more. That’s a huge step forward from where I was before.

It sucks that I failed at first, and the professor I had back then wasn’t as helpful as this one. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ‍๐Ÿ’จ So in a way, I’m actually glad I had to retake it—even though it’s at night (ugh, 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM ๐ŸŒ™). But at least we got out at 6:30 PM tonight because of the exam, so that was a small win!

I was able to breeze through problems like:
✅ (4x + 34)° and (6x + 6)°: Solving for x, I ended up with x = -4, and the angles were 8° and 32°.
✅ (15x + 3)° and (10x + 2)°: Here, I got x = -1, and the angles turned out to be 18° and 12°.
✅ (6x + 4)° and (8x - 2)°: This one gave me x = 2, resulting in angles of 16° and 14°.
✅ P = a + b + c (where P = 19, a = 6, c = 6): I solved for b and got b = 7.
✅ d = rt (where d = 280, r = 50): I divided to find t, and t = 5.6.
✅ (14x + 2)° and (11x + 3)°: Solving for x, I found the larger angle measured 44°.
✅ Finding the cost of plywood for a door: Since I needed to cover a surface, I used area instead of perimeter.

Now, the final is still on the horizon (April or May, so I’ve got time ๐Ÿ“…), but knowing I can use the tools to help with this midterm gives me so much motivation to keep pushing. One step closer to saying goodbye to math forever! ๐Ÿš€

I’ve been working hard, and it feels like it paid off big time. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿพ To anyone else struggling with a subject—don’t give up! ๐Ÿ† Use your resources, ask for help, and take those little victories as proof that you can do this. I did, and it paid off big time!

Now, time to ride this high and focus on the next goal. Let’s gooo! ๐ŸŽฏ
