Snow Day Survival for Awkwardly Introverted Souls ❄️
It’s official: classes have moved online to Zoom because we’re expecting a whole two inches of snow. Yep, two inches. But hey, icy conditions, brutal winds, and freezing temperatures make it sound worse, right? ๐ฌ️❄️
It’s currently 2 a.m., and I should be asleep, but I just wrapped up my homework. Why the late-night hustle? An eye exam earlier left me temporarily blinded by those dilation drops—seriously, it’s no joke. I couldn’t even read my assignments properly. But now that I’m caught up, I’m thankful tomorrow's classes are online. ๐๐ป
Honestly, I didn’t have the energy to go to campus anyway. Thursdays are my long-haul days, with a huge break between classes. Normally, I spend that downtime eating and doing homework before my dreaded night class: math. (I’ll let you guess how I feel about math. ๐ค๐) At least this semester, I dodged early morning classes, so there’s that win. ๐๐พ
Tomorrow, writing starts at 11:30 a.m., a perfectly reasonable time for a semi-night owl like me. ๐ฆ My EOF meeting got canceled too, so I’ll be cozy in bed unless my professor dares to order me to get up. ๐ผ๐ With Fridays off, I’m already planning to stay snuggled indoors. Introvert perks, right? Especially when the weather is this brutally cold. ๐งฃ๐งค
At least my cousin is off smh, but she’s in high school thinking she knows it all. Just waiting to hear back till adulthood hits—evil mechanical laugh—hahaha. And of course, my mom has to work from home ๐ She’s usually my ride into FDU.
So, here’s to Zoom classes, warm blankets, and not stepping outside unless absolutely necessary. If this isn’t peak introvert season, I don’t know what is. Stay cozy, friends! ๐จ️๐️✨
Goodnight & Safe!
