A Day of Sunshine, Wins, and a Little Sleepiness

Today has been one of those rare perfect days. It’s October, but you wouldn’t know it from the gorgeous weather. Warm sunshine, no hint of a chill—just pure bliss. My professor canceled class last minute (due to being sick, unfortunately 🤢), but that gave me extra time to catch up on homework and take in the beautiful weather.

As if the day couldn’t get better, my mom had an appointment, so I got a ride home—no bus ride for me today! 🙌🏾 That’s always a win. I had my meeting with my EOF counselor, and hearing her praise for my hard work, especially in math (ugh, math), really made my day. I’m still struggling with it, but I’m hoping to pass with at least a C so I can be DONE with math forever!

Now, I’m here at the doctor’s office with my mom for her appointment, and wow, the early wake-up is catching up to me. I feel like I’m seconds away from passing out—seriously need a nap. But even in my tired state, I’m still so happy about how today turned out.

Between the sunshine, the unexpected free time, and the small victories, it’s been a day to appreciate. Once I’m out of here, a nap is definitely calling my name! 😴

Diary of a Chaotic Day: Math, Figma, Funky Classmates, and a Walmart Surprise

lol this ai pic is so funny 😂  Late Post: Written on November 14, 2024 Today was… something, to say the least. It all started with a brutal math quiz 🧮 ➗ that, for some reason, my professor thought could be done in 20 minutes—without a calculator. Seriously? Twenty minutes to solve problems like: • p² + 11p + 30 = (p + 5)(p + 6) • b² + 8b + 15 = (b + 3)(b + 5) • 36 - 25t² = (6 - 5t)(6 + 5t) These aren’t your basic addition problems—factorizing on paper is a whole other struggle! Tackling them without any kind of help was impossible 🤯. Math class feels like my personal downfall, but I’m powering through as best as I can 💪🏾. After surviving that, I treated myself to some Green Day coffee ☕ and mini tacos 🌮 with a kick! The coffee was heaven—Green Day’s got a way of summing things up with  “American Idiot”  and how we’re living in  “Troubled Times.” Then I went to the library to work… or at least tried to.
