Winter Wonderland: Tea, Reflection, and Progress 🌨️❄️

Today, New Jersey is blanketed in a winter wonderland. The snow is sticking, and it’s expected to continue into tomorrow, with predictions of up to 10 inches. It’s exactly the kind of picturesque snowfall I wanted for Christmas—but didn’t get. Now, sitting here in my cozy room, munching on chips and pretzels, and watching old episodes of Haunted History on YouTube, it’s hard not to feel like the world outside is magical... even if everything inside this country feels far from it. πŸ›‹️πŸΏπŸ“Ί The snowstorm prompted Governor Murphy to issue a state of emergency. While the roads are messy, and I’m grateful to be indoors, I couldn’t help but hope that this storm would complicate certain travel plans—particularly for those heading to Washington for tomorrow's indoor swearing-in ceremony.
