A Haunting Halloween Morning: The Sun’s Betrayal It’s Halloween 🎃—the one day the world is supposed to come alive with the supernatural, the eerie, the strange. But as I look out across campus, something feels… off. Where’s the crisp chill in the air? Where’s the ghostly fog creeping over the grass? Instead, we’re cursed with an unholy 80 degrees. What kind of twisted trick is this? It feels like summer’s ghost decided to haunt us, denying fall its rightful moment. My day begins with swollen gums from a teeth cleaning—a discomfort that might be spooky on any other day, but today it’s just another frustrating reminder of my autoimmune disease flaring up.
