🎮🐟 Mermaids, Mansions & Mayhem: A Late Night Recap 🌙🪰

So yeah… I said I was gonna try the Homeless Challenge in Sims 4 😂 — but let’s be real, that didn’t happen.


Instead, I ended up creating a whole fishing merman 🧜🏾‍♂️🎣 — a green fiend ♻️, freegan 🛒, and child of the ocean 🌊 — living in a chill two-story shack on the island 🏝️ with his loyal whippet dog 🐕. No riches, just fish, freedom, and saltwater vibes.


Later that night, I threw on Unsolved Mysteries 📺 — spooky stuff — and they featured the Basking Ridge Castle 🏰, supposedly haunted by its original owner, Bill Beaty 👻. Had me thinking… is that creepy mansion available now? 👀💭


Meanwhile in real life…


That damn fly 🪰 was still buzzing around like he owned the place.

Fan’s on 🌀 (vinegar trap was a total flop), and I’m doing battle. After a while — SPLAT 🫟💥 — got his ass right on the mirror.

Dead. In the trash. Gone. 🚮 Rest in pest.


At this point: Sims off 🎮, snacks demolished 🍟🥤, natural air freshener still lingering 🍊🍋🕯️.

My mom kept the natural air freshener I made until tomorrow — she loved it so much she even put a garlic clove in it lol 😂🤷🏾‍♀️. Gonna make more now.


I’ve got my headphones on 🎧, music playing 🎶, and it’s just me… winding down at 1 a.m.


The day is DONE. ✅💤


Final-Final Update 🛏️💨

It’s now 4:30 a.m. — four thirty in the damn morning.

I finally made it to bed, laying on my side like a dramatic queen with the fan blowing full blast…

Think J.Lo in a slow-mo music video — wind everywhere, body sore, lights low 🌬️💃🏽✨


Ass = sore.

I sat so long I basically became one with the chair 💺😩

So now? I’m just gonna stay on my side like it’s a lifestyle.

If you need me, I’ll be horizontal… until further notice. 😮‍💨🛌💤


I’m getting sleepy now… let’s see how late I sleep this Friday 😂

Saturday night, and I was ready for a relaxing bath after a busy week. The plan? An oatmeal Epsom soak, some peaceful reading, and just unwinding. I had everything set: my book, my iPad, my bath filled with warm water… or so I thought. But no—the hot water completely bailed on me. I waited patiently, reading my book, hoping for the water to warm up. Despite running it for a while, the comforting warmth I craved never came. To top it off, I got into the bath anyway, but it was freezing! So much for my long, peaceful soak. My 20-minute timer went off, and I was left sitting in cold water, wishing for just a little bit of comfort.   Let’s be real—there’s nothing quite like getting lost in a good book. The plot twists, the unforgettable characters, the world-building so vivid it pulls you in…  chef’s kiss . Books are my escape, my happy place, my way of avoiding social interactions I didn’t sign up for. But you know what ruins the experience? Stupidity. And I don’t mean the fun, fictional kind where the protagonist makes terrible decisions for the sake of drama (we all secretly love that).
