🕯️ Citrus Vibes, Clove Steam & Sims Dreams 🍊🎮
Today was one of those days where the house just felt stuffy — like it needed a reset. So I cracked open the windows, lit my Tropical Breeze Yankee Candle, and started cleaning. Dishes done ✅, table wiped ✅, candle lit and glowing ✅.
The sounds of nature were doing their thing outside — birds chirping like they were narrating my cleaning montage. I swear they were out there like, “She’s doing the damn thing today.” 😂🐦
Mid-clean, I found a lemon, an orange that had opened, and a stash of cloves, so you already know I made a natural air freshener simmer pot. I chopped the fruit into pieces (yup, not even mad about it) and tossed them into a pot with water and about 6–8 cloves. Let that baby simmer on low for 30 minutes with the windows open… and let me tell you — the house now smells like citrusy, spicy peace. 🫶🏽
Of course, as soon as the place started smelling amazing, a bold-ass fly snuck in while the back door was open like it lived here. I handled that real quick:
🪟 Windows still cracked? ✅
🚪 Back door closed? ✅
🕯️ Candles blown out (safety first)? ✅
🪰 Fly now being watched like a menace to society. 😂
Also had to treat my blood sugar (thanks to the pump for the heads-up), so I cracked open a Dominican orange soda 🍊💉 and grabbed a bag of Wise Dipsy Doodles BBQ chips. Because if we’re going to recharge, we’re doing it with flavor.
And now? The Sims 4 is officially on. I was trying to play The Sims 3 (which I lowkey prefer), but it’s being a brat and refusing to launch. So TS4 it is. I’m thinking of attempting the Homeless Fisherman Challenge… emphasis on attempting, because we all know I might end up cheating anyway. 😂
Hair’s down, vibe is right, snacks are secured, and I’m ready to dive into digital poverty and see where the pixel drama takes me.
Sometimes all you need is a clean space, good snacks, and a silly little game to remind you life’s about the small wins. ✨
