🌸 Spring Has Sprung! (And So Have the Bugs, Ugh.) 🐞🦋

Spring is finally here, and let me just say—good riddance, winter! That cold, bitter, soul-sucking season has officially packed its bags, and I couldn’t be happier. Sure, spring in NJ is as unpredictable as ever—one day it’s warm and sunny, the next it’s freezing with winds strong enough to knock you over. And don’t even get me started on the rain. But hey, we’re moving in the right direction!

Of course, with spring comes April showers, which we all know bring May flowers… and unfortunately, bugs. Ugh. I love the longer days, the fresh air, and not having to dress like I’m going on an arctic expedition just to step outside, but the creepy crawlers? Yeah, I could do without them.

If I had to sum up my vibe every spring, it would be this:

Spring Activities (When the Weather Cooperates)

🌸 On warm days: You’ll catch me outside, enjoying the fresh air, sipping on an iced drink (iced tea, iced coffee, or a Slurpee) and soaking up the sun like a happy little plant.

🌧️ On rainy days: I’m inside, curled up with a cozy blanket, waiting for the downpours to pass while my face is buried in a book. Introvert here, and I love it when I’m not outside.

💨 On windy days: Just trying not to get blown into another dimension. Seriously, why is the wind so aggressive this year?! Also, I’m short and skinny—gonna get blown away.

Despite the occasional mood swings in the weather, I’m glad to see spring making its way in. Winter is out, the world is getting colorful again, and soon, it’ll actually be consistently warm (fingers crossed).
