🌸 Spring Has Sprung... Allegedly 🌸

You ever feel emotionally ready for spring but the weather’s still stuck in its winter era?
Because same.

The calendar says it’s spring, but my coat rack begs to differ. I had plans, okay? Windows down, sun out, iced coffee in hand. Instead, I’m still layering up like I’m prepping for a snowstorm just to check the mail.

It’s giving “false spring.”
It’s giving “Mother Nature is petty.”
It’s giving... bring back Bitstrips.

And speaking of Bitstrips—look what I found: 🧯🔥

This gem is from my OG Bitstrips days. That’s me, full of dramatic flair, setting winter clothes on fire and strutting away with my headphones on, unbothered.
The flames? 🔥
The boots? Toasted.
The vibe? Iconic.

I need Bitstrips to make a comeback just so I can keep expressing this exact energy in comic form. Bitmoji is cute, but it doesn’t let me set stuff on fire for emotional closure.

So yeah, here I am, somewhere between boots and flip-flops, mentally moved on even if the weather hasn’t caught up. But I’ve said goodbye to winter. Whether the weather likes it or not.

🌷 Here’s to sunshine, blooming flowers, and spring slowly making her way to the party. 🌸

Spring is here, officially.

But let’s be real—spring doesn’t just arrive with a grand entrance. She kinda saunters in, testing the waters like, “Are we ready for this?” One minute, it’s sunny and 70, and the next, it’s a freak snowstorm that makes you second-guess every weather forecast you’ve ever trusted.

Spring is that friend who shows up late, wearing flip-flops in the rain, and says, “Yeah, it’s cool, we’ll just vibe.” And honestly? I’m here for it.

The flowers are poking their heads through the ground, the trees are getting their green on, and even the birds are waking up like, "Oh, yeah. I forgot we do this!" It’s that in-between season where the days start to stretch out a little longer, and you can’t help but feel the anticipation of sunnier days ahead—even if the weather still insists on teasing you with cold fronts.

But as much as I’m ready to ditch the coats and embrace the shorts, I can’t help but appreciate how spring gives us that awkward transition. It’s like that time between settling in and actually feeling settled. It’s the hopeful season. A reminder that things change, even if it takes a little longer than expected.

So, here's to the slowly creeping sunshine, the promise of warm evenings, and all those blooms waiting to burst out in full force. It’s not perfect, but it’s coming, and I’m here for the ride. 🌻
