Seriously?! Living in America with This New Administration
Listen, I don’t know whether to laugh, cry, or pack my bags. Living in America right now feels like being in a never-ending circus where I didn't sign up to be part of the act. The policies, the chaos, the headlines—every day, it’s something new, and not in a fun way.
It's like waking up and realizing you’re stuck in a group project with people who don’t read the instructions but still want to lead. The audacity? Unmatched. The frustration? Through the roof. The clownery? At an all-time high.
And let’s talk about us Black folks who voted for Kamala. We’re sitting back, sipping our tea, watching the show like, "Didn’t we tell y’all?" Meanwhile, the Black folks who voted for him... where y’all at? Because it sure ain’t in his cabinet! All that bootlicking, all that "he’s gonna save us" energy, and for what? Y’all didn’t even get a seat at the table—just a pat on the head and a “thanks for your service.”
And speaking of bootlicking, let’s give a special shoutout to Tim Scott. LMAO. 🤣 On your knees for Trump, embarrassing yourself every chance you got, talking about “I love Trump” like you were auditioning for a MAGA mixtape. But guess what? He don’t love you. He don’t even respect you. You were a pawn, got used, and now? You’re nowhere to be found in any capacity of this administration. Not a whisper, not a position, not even a fake “diversity hire” title. You played yourself.
At this point, all I can do is protect my peace, keep my edges laid, and stay unbothered. Because, seriously?!
How are y’all holding up?
