πŸ’ΈπŸ“– Fake Dating a Billionaire? Sign Me Up! | A Late-Night Read with Lyra Parish

Book Review

I’m on chapter 22, and of course, I’m loving it so far! But in the beginning, I felt so seen—I had to put the book down for a minute and just laugh. Lyra Parish’s writing style is one of my favorite things about her books; it feels like you’re watching the story unfold right in front of you.

What really surprised me? It’s not set in Texas! This time, we’re in NYC on Billionaire’s Row, with mentions of Central Park. And let’s not forget—it’s winter, not fall! If you know her work, that’s definitely a shock. But I still crack up at the Texas-inspired small-town names when they pop up.

love the banter between the two main characters, and the background characters add so much to the story. The romance? Spicy. Ugh, yesss. πŸ˜ I’m taking my time reading this because I love savoring the story instead of rushing through it. But damn, can something like this happen to me? πŸ˜‚ Where is my billionaire who wants a fake relationship?

I know it’s 2:15 AM—which, by the way, totally shocked my mom πŸ˜‚ She wasn’t paying attention to the time, but me? I’m just gonna read one more chapter… then I’m off to dreamland. πŸ˜΄πŸ“–✨πŸ’™
