Black History: The Celebration of Truth and Power ✊🏾

Welcome to Awkwardly Introverted! This month, I’m celebrating Black History—from the well-known icons to the untold stories that are at the heart of American history. Black history is American history, and it's about time we give it the recognition it deserves! 🙌🏾✊🏾

The Fear of Losing Power

As I dive into celebrating Black history, I can’t ignore the ugly truth: some people are absolutely terrified of losing control. 😤 Those who thrive on hate know their time is running out. The numbers are changing, and they can feel it. They’re scared of a world where hate doesn’t have the power anymore. It’s honestly laughable how much fear some people have. It’s not all white people, but there’s definitely a group whose hearts are filled with hate—and you can see it a mile away. They’re not just afraid of others; they’re afraid of themselves. 😬

The Hypocrisy of "Go Back to Your Country"
I hear it all the time—"go back to your country." And every time, I have to shake my head. 🤦🏾‍♂️ To the people saying this, here’s the thing: white Europeans are among the biggest immigrants in this country. So, if you’re going to tell others to "go back to their country," it’s time for them to take a long look in the mirror and take a trip back across the pond. This land was already occupied by Native Americans and Black people long before white settlers arrived. The hypocrisy is mind-blowing. 😆

The History They Don’t Want You to Learn
History has always been rewritten by those in power. And let’s be real—those in power want to erase the contributions of Black people and hide the struggles that built this country. But guess what? Knowledge will always find a way to be shared. 📚✨ No matter how hard they try to ban books, censor the truth, or rewrite the past, Black history will NEVER be erased. We will continue to rise, teach, and share our story. 💥

The Truth Will Always Prevail
They can try to shut us down, silence the movement, or defund education—but the truth? The truth is unstoppable. Black power is a movement that has been going strong for centuries, and it’s only getting stronger. We’ve been the creators, the fighters, the resistance, and the backbone of this country. The fight for justice, equality, and recognition isn’t over, and I’ll continue to honor those who came before me and fight for a better future. 💪🏾🔥

Black Power. ✊🏾

This month—and every month—I’m going to keep celebrating Black history, teaching the truth, and pushing for a future where love and unity reign over hate. The revolution will not be televised. It will be lived, and it will never stop. 🌍✊🏾
