Stephen King Fans, Mark Your Calendars for Never Flinch ๐
Let’s dive in! First off, the snow is gone—completely melted. I’m shaking my head (smh) ๐คฆ๐พ♀️. No white Christmas this year, and honestly, it doesn’t even feel like Christmas. To make matters worse, my chronic illness is flaring up again. Living with this is exhausting.
Now, let’s talk about this cold weather—ugh. These baseboard heaters are absolutely useless; they can’t keep up at all. Can I please get a steam radiator instead? ๐ฃ
For those unfamiliar with steam radiators—or maybe you’re just too young to know—let me explain.
Imagine a heater that doesn’t “politely” warm your space like these weak little baseboard heaters. No, a steam radiator is the OG of home heating. It doesn’t whisper warmth—it demands it. It’s like, “You WILL be cozy whether you like it or not!”
These radiators look like a cluster of metal pipes welded together, standing tall in the corner like an old-school heavyweight champ. When it kicks on, it hisses and clanks like it’s throwing punches at the cold. And the heat it produces? Glorious. It’ll have you shedding layers faster than a toddler throwing a tantrum about wearing a coat.
The best part? It doesn’t just warm the room—it transforms your entire living space into a tropical paradise (minus the palm trees). You can even lean against it, and it feels like a warm hug—if hugs came with a slight risk of singed skin.
In short, a steam radiator is the Beyoncรฉ of heaters: powerful, timeless, and unmatched. It’s the heater we all deserve, but sadly, some of us don’t have. Can someone start a petition to bring steam radiators back? Because these baseboard heaters aren’t cutting it.
Now that I’ve vented, let’s shift gears. New books are coming out! Unfortunately, I’ve been out of the loop and didn’t realize some of these are dropping soon. I’ve been too busy trying to tackle my never-ending reading list ๐.
One exciting release is Stephen King’s upcoming book, Never Flinch. It’s set to release on May 27, 2025, and it looks like another intense thriller. I’ve uploaded a preview of it on my blog for anyone interested.
I love Stephen King books. It always fascinates me how this man can write such thick, detailed stories that often become movies or mini-series. I personally love all the adaptations, even if I haven’t read half the books ๐. But Nightmares and Dreamscapes—both the book and the mini-series—are still among my favorites.
Then there’s Carrie, Cujo, Bag of Bones, The Green Mile—I could go on and on about his work. Big fan here! I even follow him on social media. He’s an amazing author.
Are there any Stephen King fans out there? What are some of your favorites? Let’s talk about it; I’m always curious which of his works people love most.
Have you been keeping up with the latest book releases? Or are you like me—trying to conquer your current TBR pile before adding more? Let me know!
