Wow, what a day! After working on this project, I’ve realized something HUGE—I’m loving app design, UI/UX, and web design even more than I thought! Yes, I still want to master Adobe Illustrator (and I will), but there’s something about app design that just *clicks* for me. I used Figma for the first time today in class, and I picked it up like that! 🙌🏾 It helps that it’s got a similar vibe to Illustrator, so I felt right at home. Definitely asking my advisor to squeeze in more electives around app design because I’m in love with it!


Oh, and finally—my sneakers arrived!! 🙌🏾 I’ve been suffering with my old shoes, and all that walking made my right foot tighten up. Ugh, it was painful! But now I’m all set to walk in comfort. Speaking of health stuff, I’ve got another EDG procedure tomorrow (no food or drinks tonight 😩). Let’s hope it’s the *last* one for the year!


On a brighter note, my glasses are back from the shop with stronger lenses, and I can see so clearly now! 👓 *Finally*!


And oh, did you see? They arrested the father of that Georgia shooter. Honestly, if you buy your kid a gun after the FBI interviews them, you deserve to be locked up too. Enough with the excuses—mental illness or being bullied is no reason to hurt innocent people. Time to hold these irresponsible parents and gun owners accountable and fix these gun laws once and for all. You know they’d change the laws if Black people started carrying guns more openly. Facts!


Anyway, I need to submit this writing assignment and get some sleep because I’ve got to be up at the crack of dawn for class tomorrow. But next semester? Two morning classes only and just *three* classes overall! 😂 I need my sleep!

Diary of a Chaotic Day: Math, Figma, Funky Classmates, and a Walmart Surprise

lol this ai pic is so funny 😂  Late Post: Written on November 14, 2024 Today was… something, to say the least. It all started with a brutal math quiz 🧮 ➗ that, for some reason, my professor thought could be done in 20 minutes—without a calculator. Seriously? Twenty minutes to solve problems like: • p² + 11p + 30 = (p + 5)(p + 6) • b² + 8b + 15 = (b + 3)(b + 5) • 36 - 25t² = (6 - 5t)(6 + 5t) These aren’t your basic addition problems—factorizing on paper is a whole other struggle! Tackling them without any kind of help was impossible 🤯. Math class feels like my personal downfall, but I’m powering through as best as I can 💪🏾. After surviving that, I treated myself to some Green Day coffee ☕ and mini tacos 🌮 with a kick!
