Locked Out, Moonlit Moments, Fireworks, and a Bit of WTF Energy

So, here’s a little WTF moment for you: I stepped outside to toss the trash and grab some money before the store closed, and guess what? I forgot my keys. 🙃 No one is home because I had the place all to myself, and now I’m just sitting outside, waiting for my mom to get back from the laundromat. Ugh, what was I even thinking? Maybe it’s my old age kicking in since my birthday is tomorrow. 😂🤦🏾‍♀️

To make things even more fun, I can’t drink my soda until I get in—because, yeah, I definitely can’t afford to need the bathroom right now. Lesson learned: always double-check for your keys before stepping out, especially when no one else is around!

On a brighter note, the moon is out tonight, big and bright! 🌕 I tried to snap a few pictures, but my phone doesn’t really do the view justice. Still, it’s kind of nice just being able to look up at the sky while I wait. I wish I had my telescope out, but with all the light pollution in the city, it’s tough to see much anyway.

And on top of that, someone is lighting fireworks. 💥 Like, seriously, WTF? Who even still has fireworks at this time of year?! It’s random, but it adds to the adventure I guess. 😅

All in all, I’m embracing the introvert life tonight—just me, the moon, some surprise fireworks, and a WTF moment to laugh about. Maybe the universe decided to give me a little pre-birthday adventure. 😎

Update: Mom to the rescue! She’s finally home from the laundromat, and I’m back inside! 🎉 Time to crack open that soda and relax. Crisis averted! But seriously, the whole thing has been one of those moments where you just have to laugh. Maybe the universe decided to give me a little pre-birthday adventure. 😎
