America, When Will You Finally Fix This?

Here we are again—another school year, another mass shooting by a freaking 14-year-old. Ridiculous! I am tired of hearing about this. My heart breaks for the children, the families, and the teachers who aren’t paid enough for this shit to keep happening.

Instead of idiots worrying about what’s going on in our homes or trying to control a woman’s body, how about saving the fucking children you claim to love so much? Fix the gun violence that seems to be uniquely American. This shit doesn’t happen anywhere else. Why? Because other countries don’t love guns more than people. But yet, you want more babies when you can’t even protect the ones that are already here!

Republicans sold their souls to the NRA because God forbid we have background checks, mental health evaluations, or reasonable gun laws. And why in the world do civilians need assault weapons? There is no reason for it—none!

Parents who let their children access guns should be tried and held accountable. Enough is enough. Innocent children are being slaughtered by people who are miserable and evil. There is no excuse for anyone attacking children in schools.

Republicans, the blood of these children and teachers is on your hands. I hope you’re happy knowing you’re the reason this keeps happening because you refuse to work with Democrats to solve this crisis.

America, you have a serious problem. Thoughts and prayers don’t do a damn thing. They don’t bring back the victims. We’re tired. Fix it.
