He empowered racist individuals to feel emboldened, to commit hateful acts with a sense of impunity, and let’s not even start on the brainwashed cult members that make up the MAGA movement.

This is not the America we should want. We can do better. We deserve better.

Let’s break down those so-called "promises" Trump made, as highlighted in the image:

1. Handed a Booming Economy: Trump was given a strong, growing economy, yet he managed to tank it. The economic gains made before his presidency were wiped out, leaving many struggling.
2. Growing Labor Market: When he started, the job market was expanding. By the end of his presidency, there were 3 million fewer jobs than when he started. Instead of building on the progress made, he oversaw its decline.
3. Manufacturing Sector: The manufacturing sector was on the rise, but under Trump, it stalled and then plummeted. He failed to deliver on his promises to revitalize American manufacturing.
4. Started a Trade War: Trump initiated a trade war that he didn’t win. The tariffs and trade policies hurt American farmers, manufacturers, and consumers, leaving us worse off.
5. Pandemic Response: His mishandling of the COVID-19 pandemic was catastrophic. Under his watch, the U.S. became the country with the highest number of COVID infections and deaths. He spread misinformation, even suggesting people drink bleach or expose themselves to UV light as "cures." Lives were lost due to his negligence.
6. Post-Election Behavior: After losing the election, instead of accepting the will of the people, he spread the "Big Lie" that the election was stolen. He attempted a coup through fake electors and incited an insurrection, leading to the tragic events of January 6th.

And now, some people want a repeat 🔁 of this presidency? Not me.
