Why Is Algebra Ruining My Life?

 I can’t even with algebra right now. I’ve just spent hours on a 36-question homework assignment, and I ended up with three wrong answers. Seriously, three! It’s so infuriating. I breezed through a similar 10-question homework just the other day, but now this feels like a never-ending nightmare. Why is this happening to me?

I’m really over it. I mean, what does algebra even have to do with graphic design? I’m trying to focus on my creative projects, and instead, I’m bogged down by this mind-numbing math. It’s not like solving equations is going to help me create stunning visuals or anything. So why do I have to deal with this? It feels so pointless.

I just want to finish this homework and move on, but no, it’s like algebra is determined to ruin my day. I’m so done with this class and honestly, I’m questioning why I even need to deal with math when it’s so irrelevant to my interests. Ugh, I’m so frustrated I could scream.

I’m taking a brain break because I need one. Maybe a little distance will help me see the point of this whole algebra thing, but right now, I’m just over it.

Diary of a Chaotic Day: Math, Figma, Funky Classmates, and a Walmart Surprise

lol this ai pic is so funny 😂  Late Post: Written on November 14, 2024 Today was… something, to say the least. It all started with a brutal math quiz 🧮 ➗ that, for some reason, my professor thought could be done in 20 minutes—without a calculator. Seriously? Twenty minutes to solve problems like: • p² + 11p + 30 = (p + 5)(p + 6) • b² + 8b + 15 = (b + 3)(b + 5) • 36 - 25t² = (6 - 5t)(6 + 5t) These aren’t your basic addition problems—factorizing on paper is a whole other struggle! Tackling them without any kind of help was impossible 🤯. Math class feels like my personal downfall, but I’m powering through as best as I can 💪🏾. After surviving that, I treated myself to some Green Day coffee ☕ and mini tacos 🌮 with a kick!
