Health Update: Taking a Break Due to Severe Flare-Up
Hey everyone,
I'm writing this just before the Benadryl really kicks in, so bear with me if things get a bit fuzzy. Unfortunately, my body has failed me once again, and this time it's even worse than last month's flare-up. This one has come back with a vengeance, and it's affecting me everywhere.
My hands are full of sores, and the inflammation is so severe that I'm going to be checking myself back into the ER soon. I know what that means—nasty hospital food and probably being put on a clear diet again, which I am not looking forward to. ๐ฉ
This flare-up is attacking my eyes, hands, mouth, tongue, gums, cheeks, elbows, esophagus, feet, and genitals. I'm so upset about this that I had a breakdown today and ended up snapping at anyone who bothered me. I'm in so much pain, and on top of that, I'm starving. Well, more like hangry because it's too painful to eat, drink, or even talk.
On top of everything, I'm really pissed off because I'm starting classes this month, and I can't afford to begin the semester sick. Can I please just have a new body?
Why can't we find a cure for Behรงet's disease? It's just not fair to live like this. I'm beyond frustrated.
I'll be heading to the hospital tomorrow, and because of all this, I won't be active on here or anywhere else for at least two weeks to a month.
Thanks for your understanding, and I hope to be back soon.
Take care,
