From Homework to Heartbreak: Farewell to August and a Legend

Hey, my blogging peeps 🐥,

Today, I’m bidding you farewell for a bit as I gear up for a long day of relaxation—well, as much as I can get while tackling my homework. Yup, it’s that time again. Can’t believe I’m back at it, but it’s all good. I know it’ll be worth it in the end, especially with the Class of 2028 in my sights.

As we say goodbye to August and hello to September, I can’t help but feel a little uneasy about the changing seasons. Fall is creeping in, and I’m just not ready for the cold. 🥶 But hey, we’ve got to roll with it, right? I hope you all enjoy your day and make the most of the new month.

On a more somber note, we lost a legend today—Fatman Scoop. Sadly, he passed away after collapsing on stage. It’s heartbreaking to think that someone who brought so much energy and life to hip hop is now gone. He was a true pioneer, and his music and lyrics will continue to live on in our hearts and playlists.

One of his most iconic lines that still gets the crowd hyped: “All The Chickenheads Be Quiet.” And who could forget the classic “If You got a $50 dollar bill, put ya hands up 🙌🏾 single ladies, I can't hear you, single ladies make noise.” That line alone could make any room come alive.

Fatman Scoop also left his mark with unforgettable collaborations, like “Lose Control” with the iconic Missy Elliott and Ciara. That track will always be a banger.

Damn, he’s gone too soon, but at least he was doing what he loved. Rest in peace 🪦, Fatman Scoop. You’ll be missed, but your legacy will live on forever.

Just a little daily reminder to keep pushing forward, no matter how tough the grind gets. We’ve got this!

Until later, amigos. Adios 🤘🏾✌🏾📚📄✍🏾👩🏾‍💻
