Stepping onto the campus of Fairleigh Dickinson University, I felt a wave of excitement and purpose wash over me. Here I am, a proud member of the Class of 2028, diving headfirst into the School of the Arts to pursue my passion for Graphic Design, Web Design, Illustration, and App Design. This is more than just a new chapter in my life; it’s the beginning of a journey that’s going to shape my future in ways I can’t even imagine yet. 🚀


What I love most about FDU is the small class setting. It’s not just a place where you attend lectures and turn in assignments; it’s a community where every student is seen, heard, and valued. In these intimate classrooms, learning feels more personal, more impactful. The professors aren’t just teachers—they’re mentors who are deeply invested in helping you succeed. This environment has made learning easier and far more rewarding than I ever thought possible. 🌟


Looking back, I wish I had found FDU earlier in my academic journey. When I graduated high school, I didn’t even know this incredible place existed. My high school guidance counselor never mentioned it, pushing me instead toward the local community college, Passaic County Community College (PCCC). While PCCC wasn’t the right fit for me and I didn’t graduate from there, I don’t regret the path I’ve taken. Each step has brought me to where I am today, and for that, I’m grateful. 🙏🏾


If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that it’s never too late to find your path. FDU is where I’m meant to be, and I’m more determined than ever to seize every opportunity, challenge myself, and grow in ways I never thought possible. This university isn’t just giving me an education—it’s giving me the tools to transform my passion into a career, to turn my dreams into reality. 🎨💻


So here’s my message to anyone who feels like they’ve missed out or taken a wrong turn: It’s never too late to start fresh. Every day is a chance to chase your dreams, to find your purpose, and to build the future you’ve always wanted. I’m proof that no matter where you’ve been, the best is yet to come. 🌈


Fairleigh Dickinson University is my new beginning, and I’m ready to make the most of every moment. The journey ahead is bright, and I can’t wait to see where it leads. 🌟🎉

Diary of a Chaotic Day: Math, Figma, Funky Classmates, and a Walmart Surprise

lol this ai pic is so funny 😂  Late Post: Written on November 14, 2024 Today was… something, to say the least. It all started with a brutal math quiz 🧮 ➗ that, for some reason, my professor thought could be done in 20 minutes—without a calculator. Seriously? Twenty minutes to solve problems like: • p² + 11p + 30 = (p + 5)(p + 6) • b² + 8b + 15 = (b + 3)(b + 5) • 36 - 25t² = (6 - 5t)(6 + 5t) These aren’t your basic addition problems—factorizing on paper is a whole other struggle! Tackling them without any kind of help was impossible 🤯. Math class feels like my personal downfall, but I’m powering through as best as I can 💪🏾. After surviving that, I treated myself to some Green Day coffee ☕ and mini tacos 🌮 with a kick! The coffee was heaven—Green Day’s got a way of summing things up with  “American Idiot”  and how we’re living in  “Troubled Times.” Then I went to the library to work… or at least tried to.
