Orientation Day at FDU

Today, I attended my orientation at Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) from 9 AM to 5 PM. It was an exhausting but exhilarating experience. The campus is beautiful, and the energy was infectious.

Most of the students there were coming straight from high school, so I was the oldest one in the group. Despite that, it was a great opportunity to meet new people and get a feel for the campus.

I met my professor and I’m really excited about the classes I’ll be taking for graphic design. The class sizes are small, which I love. However, I’m dreading the math classes, as I struggle with math. I plan to utilize the tutors to help me get through it.

I’m also hoping to get into the EOF (Educational Opportunity Fund) program, which would be a great support system.

By the end of the day, I hit an impressive 16,616 steps! My feet are crying from walking so much. My legs are sore, but it was worth every step. Tonight, I am going to sleep so well, knowing I took a big step towards my future.

Next month, I’ll be joining the class of 2028!
