Still So Damn Itchy!

So, here we are, on day whatever, and I’m still incredibly itchy! It feels like tiny creatures are having a parade all over my skin—literally everywhere! 😩😭 I was just lounging in bed, lazily scrolling through social media, when I felt something crawling on me. Surprise, surprise, it was a bug! 😭😩🤬😤😫 🔥🔫 I swear, I have a passionate hatred for bugs. Come on, body, stop itching already! I desperately need relief 🆘.


Speaking of itchiness, that Benadryl didn’t quite stop the itch, but it sure knocked me out. Felt just like the anesthesia my doctor uses when checking out my esophagus—sleepy-time goodness 😴 😂.

The Rollercoaster of a Saturday Night: Bathtub Disasters, Ancient Aliens, and Everything in Between 🛁👽📱

Saturday night, and I was ready for a relaxing bath after a busy week. The plan? An oatmeal Epsom soak, some peaceful reading, and just unwinding. I had everything set: my book, my iPad, my bath filled with warm water… or so I thought. But no—the hot water completely bailed on me. I waited patiently, reading my book, hoping for the water to warm up. Despite running it for a while, the comforting warmth I craved never came. To top it off, I got into the bath anyway, but it was freezing! So much for my long, peaceful soak. My 20-minute timer went off, and I was left sitting in cold water, wishing for just a little bit of comfort. Talk about a huge letdown. 😩❄️ I was all set to do my usual routine afterward: changing my expired insulin pump and Dexcom sensor. But nope, that didn’t happen.   Let’s be real—there’s nothing quite like getting lost in a good book. The plot twists, the unforgettable characters, the world-building so vivid it pulls you in…  chef’s kiss . Books are my escape, my happy place, my way of avoiding social interactions I didn’t sign up for. But you know what ruins the experience? Stupidity. And I don’t mean the fun, fictional kind where the protagonist makes terrible decisions for the sake of drama (we all secretly love that). I’m talking about real-world, brain-cell-draining stupidity—the kind that makes you question how some people function on a daily basis. Yes, I am a book reader. Yes, I am highly allergic to stupidity.
