It’s Too Peopley Outside, So I’m Staying in Bed with My Books πŸ“šπŸ˜΄

Image
There’s a whole world out there—full of noise, small talk, and social interactions I did not sign up for. Meanwhile, there’s my bed—soft, warm, and conveniently located far away from all that. Guess which one I’m choosing? If you said  "bed"  πŸ›️, congratulations, you get me. If you said  "outside" … I’m concerned for you, but I respect your choices. πŸ˜ΆπŸ’ See, I like my adventures  fictional.  I’d rather spend my time curled up with a good book πŸ“–, living vicariously through characters who go out and do exciting things—fall in love πŸ’•, solve mysteries πŸ•΅πŸ½‍♀️, slay dragons πŸ‰—while I stay cozy under a blanket, avoiding eye contact with the real world. My TBR pile is the only overwhelming social obligation I’m willing to face. πŸ“šπŸ“šπŸ“š And let’s talk about how exhausting  people  can be. Strangers expect pleasantries. Acquaintances expect small talk. Friends expect…  effort.  πŸ˜© Meanwhile, my books expect  nothing  from me except to be...

Existing Loudly in a Quiet Way

Image
So… yeah. This is a blog post. About introversion. No big speeches. No deep analysis. Just me… existing. Loudly, in my head. 🀷🏾‍♀️ I saw this ribbon that says  "Proud Introvert"  and honestly, yeah. That’s me. But also, being an introvert isn’t always something I want to wear like a badge. It’s just… how I am. No small talk. No unnecessary conversations. Just me, my books πŸ“š, and the comfort of knowing that I don’t have to explain why I like being alone. People ask, “Why are you so quiet?” I don’t know, maybe because I have nothing to say? Maybe because my brain is busy replaying that one embarrassing thing I did in 2014? 😬 Maybe because I don’t feel like talking just for the sake of filling silence? Silence is nice. I like silence. 😌 But then, being introverted doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy people. I do. In doses. Small, carefully measured doses. Social battery is a real thing πŸ”‹, and mine runs out fast. One conversation at a time, please. Preferably with someone who also e...

Too Peopley Outside, Perfectly Bookish Inside πŸ“š✨

Image
This perfectly sums up the ultimate introvert mood—staying in bed, reading, and avoiding the chaos of the outside world. πŸ“šπŸ˜Œ There’s just something about getting cozy under the blankets, surrounded by books, with maybe a furry friend nearby 🐢 (who totally understands the need for quiet time). The idea of stepping outside? No, thanks. It’s too  peopley  out there. πŸ™…πŸΎ‍♀️ Some might call it antisocial, but honestly, it’s just prioritizing peace. The world can be loud, exhausting, and full of small talk I didn’t sign up for. Meanwhile, books offer immersive stories, well-written characters, and zero awkward interactions. No weird eye contact, no forced conversations—just pure escapism. πŸ“–✨ So, if you're the type who’d rather stay home with a book than go out and socialize, just know—you’re not alone. We’re all just introverts vibing in our cozy bookish worlds, hoping the outside world doesn’t come knocking. πŸ˜†
