Hey there, it’s your girl behind the blog,  Awkwardly Introverted ! It’s a lazy Saturday, and I’m taking some much-needed time to relax and give myself a facial. Granted, it’s awkwardly put on and hilariously uneven, but that’s part of the charm, right? Self-care doesn’t have to look perfect—it just has to feel good! Oh, and guess what? It snowed just a little bit today! To be honest, I was hoping for a little more snow—but not like upstate NY or Midwest levels (I’m not ready for that kind of winter chaos). For now, I’m making do with my YouTube fireplace paired with a snowy background video to set the vibe. It’s cozy and just what I need. Speaking of cozy, I’m about to dive back into my hockey romance book 📖⛸️⛸️🏒🥅 because, let’s be real, that’s about as much action as I get these days. LMAO. 🫢🤭🫠🤣😂 For some reason, I find myself reading hockey romances more than any other sport—don’t ask me why, it’s just what I gravitate toward! This one was a random pick from my Goodreads...

A Slow Saturday Morning of Relaxation

  There’s something uniquely comforting about those quiet Saturday mornings that feel more like Sundays—slow, mellow, and perfect for recharging. Today, I woke up to the sound of silence, and instead of rushing around, I opted for a peaceful start. A hot cup of coffee ☕ with cream, sugar, and a generous swirl of whipped cream 🍦 became my morning ritual. It’s the kind of indulgence that sets the tone for a day where everything moves at its own pace. Breakfast was a simple yet satisfying affair—bacon 🥓, eggs 🍳, sausage 🌭, and grits—comfort food at its finest. Paired with coffee, it felt like the world could slow down just a bit longer.
