Hey y’all, awkwardly introverted readers!

Omg it’s 12:58 am & I’m listening to that rain just pouring down ugh 😩 I got class tomorrow, I don’t want to hold an umbrella πŸŒ‚. I only love rainstorms when I’m home with nothing to do or just chilling πŸ˜‚. But right now, it’s one of those nights where I’m just trying to get through it all.  The rain was so loud outside, but I drowned it out with my fan. Of course, it was a bit too warm, and if I took my shirt off, I’d get cold. Classic. Eventually, I managed to relax my whole body, preparing for the inevitable journey to sleep, where things finally make sense—like being home with my dog, my house, and well, being rich. If only. I really hope the rain stops by tomorrow morning. The last thing I want to deal with is walking in the rain with a soggy umbrella. The weather is supposed to clear up around 10, just in time for me to catch the bus. But I’m honestly praying that NJ Transit doesn’t pull one of their “we’re late” acts, as usual. Confessions of a Book Reader: Allergic to Stupidity, Powered by Sarcasm

Image
Let’s be real—there’s nothing quite like getting lost in a good book. The plot twists, the unforgettable characters, the world-building so vivid it pulls you in…  chef’s kiss . Books are my escape, my happy place, my way of avoiding social interactions I didn’t sign up for. But you know what ruins the experience? Stupidity. And I don’t mean the fun, fictional kind where the protagonist makes terrible decisions for the sake of drama (we all secretly love that). I’m talking about real-world, brain-cell-draining stupidity—the kind that makes you question how some people function on a daily basis. Yes, I am a book reader. Yes, I am highly allergic to stupidity. And yes, sarcasm is my prescribed antihistamine. 🫠 This is so me, lol. πŸ˜‚ I’m an introverted bookworm with a blog called  Awkwardly Introverted , where I embrace all things bookish, socially awkward, and, of course, sarcastic. Reading is my comfort zone, and stupidity is my biggest irritant. Symptoms of My “Allergy”...

This Is My Resisting Bitch Face 😌✨

This Is My Resisting Bitch Face 😌✨ You ever just sit there, minding your business, and suddenly someone asks,  "Are you mad?"  or  "Why do you look so mean?"  Like, no. This is just my face. And even if I was mad, so what? Welcome to the world of the Resisting Bitch Face.  Not to be confused with Resting Bitch Face (RBF), this is something different. This is the face of someone who is actively resisting the urge to deal with nonsense, to entertain stupidity, or to engage with energy that simply isn’t worth it. Why Do We Even Have to Explain This?  πŸ€¨ It’s wild how people, especially women, constantly get judged for not smiling 24/7. Like, sorry, I’m not a theme park mascot here to make everyone comfortable. My face isn’t here for your approval. If I smile too much, I’m  trying too hard. If I don’t smile at all, I’m  unapproachable. If I’m neutral, I’m  giving attitude. Make it make sense! 😀 Resisting Bitch Face = Boundaries  πŸ›‘ Here’s ...
