Why Do We Have Periods? An Introverted Rant 🥴 Let’s get real, ladies. Why on earth do we have to deal with this monthly nightmare? 🤷🏾‍♀️ Periods are the ultimate inconvenience, and they feel like they were designed to test our patience. Heavy bleeding, cramps, back pain, sore boobs, and let’s not even get started on those pesky blood clots that feel like a tsunami—seriously, what did we do to deserve this? 🌊 As if that wasn’t enough, there’s the lovely side effect of feeling nauseous, dizzy, and utterly drained. 😩 You’d think we’d be given some sort of break from this torture, especially when so many women aren’t even in the market for kids! A Not-So-Great Saturday: Period Problems

So, this is how my Saturday is going so far. Well, well, this period is making me sick, figuratively and literally, because I’m so nauseous 🤢. I’m using the bathroom too much—damn period poops 💩. Yes, us women have period poop 💩. I couldn’t even eat my breakfast because I was so nauseous. I’m bloated, and it’s just not a good period at all. I had a big lunch planned, but I had to X that out and just eat some fried chicken 🍗 with bread 🍞. It’s all I can handle right now. It’s thundering outside like crazy but not raining or lightning ⛈️ ⚡️ yet. I know it’s coming, and I feel so weak, tired, and not energetic at all. The cramps are a son of a bitch, but thanks to my doctor for those 600 mg of ibuprofen. This period just started, but I’m already over it. On the bright side, I’m super grateful it’s on now and not when classes start at the end of the month. Here’s to hoping the rest of the day improves and that this period passes quickly.
